Hey all, I am restoring a little gem of a camera known as the Bolsey model C, for my girlfriend, iv fixed everything except of one issue, I was hoping someone might be able to help me out.

Its got a really simple shutter, it dosent wind or charge, you just press the lever and you have a selection of 5 shutter speeds and a T & B setting, I think the design is called a leaf shutter, although i'm not 100 percent certain, there are three blades in front of the aperture iris that open and close with whatever shutter speed you set.

here is my problem, the shutter works, but occasionaly (especially on the slower speeds) the blades dont return to the closed position, leaving a triangular hole in the middle that would ruin the frame, the blades close eventually, but is obviously not quite right.

what can I do to lubricate or return some tension to the little blades? is this something easily achievable?.

id be really grateful for any advice, you would be helping me out earning some real brownie points :p
