Can anyone here recommend a leather strap that can go through strap eyes like those on the Leica M5 (slit-shaped)?

I´m considering the Luigi Deluxe strap, for instance, but I don´t know whether or not it can be opened completely for removal of the rings and the protector flaps, and then be lead directly through the strap eyes of the camera. Furthermore, it must be 110cm long from strap eye to strap eye.
Can any of you guys with a Luigi Deluxe strap enlighten me?

Try the Gordy String Strap:or maybe one of the many nylon fabric straps with friction buckle designed for that type of lug.

Steve
Thank you for the suggestions.
I have Gordy´s wrist strap and I like it, but in this case it is a matter of carrying my MP in a half-case, and the string version will not look right or work right for that and I would not be able to trust its strength for this purpose.
I have considered nylon straps, but will prefer leather to go with the half-case.

I have a Zhou strap for my M5, bought together with the Zhou case. Works fine, soft leather (the strap; the case is a bit stiffer) and not too expensive. I asked him specifically before buying if it would fit.

This are the ones:
