Is that normal ?

what kind of noise? does it happne during the shutter's release? or during the movement of the shutter speed dial?

If it is a buzzing sound you have nothing to worry about. It's simply the slow speed escapement gear train winding or unwinding.

i'm talking about when i'm moving the dail !

It's not very noisy but just dif' !

Just checked both my M6TTLs -- no such noise. If yours is not the TTL, it may be ok. Otherwise, could be a sign of trouble.

What you describe is not normal. Maybe it's time for a CLA.

You say you just got it. Meaning... just purchased it? Like yesterday? Like you just took it out of the box?

If so, contact the seller or store. It's time for a refund or a repair under warranty.

If you had it for a while and it's making grinding noises when you turn the shutterspeed dial... call or email Sherry Krauter or Don Goldberg, who are both top notch Leica repair experts. Chances are they'll tell you to send the camera to them right away. If you're in the US and in the East, you may want to send it to Sherry. If you're in the Midwest and further... send it to Don (he's in Wisconsin).

Hi I had some similar problem but with a different brand, I was referred by a friend to a tech support site with free live support. They found the solution for me and I receive good fast personal help. Maybe you should do the same just use the live support.
