Leica LTM Leica in a 'attic'

Has anyone had their SBOOI slip out of the hot shoe? It's happened on my IIIa before (but not IIIb or IIIf.) Luckily it fell into my hand, otherwise I would have passed out. With that camera only I use the internal VF now.
