in truth i see myself eventually gearing down to one of these cameras/lens sets.
i cannot believe the internal chaos having this much different gear is having on me. with the 3 p's there was no chaos, all the choices were the same.
i'm not complaining, honest. i'm also a one woman man, if that makes any sense...

You can't believe how pocketable the M3 becomes with an old Elmar or FSU Elmarski lens.

Definitely! Every M deserves a good collapsible 50.

Melanie, having spent some time in locker rooms in my callow youth I can say with some certainty -

I never discussed camera gear there. Other mechanical devices like cars, yes.

No one EVER discussed being hurt in a relationship there. God, no.

Any other experiential resemblance between this thread and a men's locker room is probably just random neural firing. 😛 😛

Anyway, speaking of lenses, I just spent a bit of time fondling a couple of 90s that I can't afford (a black Tele-Elmarit 2.8 and a Summicron/2). Ah well. If I had anything worth selling that I was willing to sell I'd do it, but everything that falls into the "worth selling category" (cameras, laptop, the one dog I paid for) also falls into the "necessities" category so I guess I'm hosed.
