I'm interested in getting one of these and have checked ebay. Some are about $20, others that mention AF confirmation for $40, and then there are some with a lens element.
I assume the last type are for Nikon lens to Leica body so that's not what I want.
Question: do these adaptors support open aperture metering, or is it stop down metering?
Question: using an old Summicron 50 on an F4, do I need the more expensive AF confirmation type? Isn't AF determined by contrast sensing in the camera body?
