Fabio, Klaus, Jim and Allen, thanks for sharing, nice pics in the last few pages. I must get something going especially for the new firmware loaded, been raining bad over here lately...

Orange or red filter?
Amazing tones, I would use KB-25 w/O-56 in a M6 to get this.
Digital. . . perhaps it is time to rethink my approach. :bang:
Thanks
Orange... B&W 46 040 4X MRC

Klaus, thanks... You are referring to the 2nd pic right? EXIF is F/1.4, 1/125, ISO 1000. Distance between me an the subjects, around 2 meters or so, then distance of subjects with the OOF, probably more or less 5 meters.

here are some recent shots...
Thanks for your reply Dave,
your MM does show the f-stop in the EXIF data ? Is this working with the latest firmware update?
So far the M9 does this (however inaccurate) but my MM does not. I find it helpful, so I would risk do the update to get this functionality.
I never understood why it does not work with the MM.

Unfortunately, it still doesn't. I knew it was F/1.4 because it usually is stucked up at that aperture at night.

Nice and a bit surreal shot, Michael.
Dave, I love the one of the three boys from the back.
This is one of my personal favourites of all my shots from Japan. Also taken in one of the places I loved the most: Asakusa in Tokyo. The scene unfolded in front of me like a mini-film: I took three frames and this is the middle one, where everything came together.

People and bikes at street corner, Asakusa, Tokyo by fabiolug, on Flickr
Took it with the Hexanon AR 28mm f/3.5, which keeps impressing me, good performer and rather inexpensive lens.
Bit of trivia: how many bikes can you see in this picture?

Fabio, I concur why indeed it's your favorite. I lost count how many bikes you have there, I know there is picture of a bike in the corner building, and the reflections from the mirror... if they are counted.
