Very nice Helen. By chance, do you remember what you rated the Neopan 1600 at and where did you meter to get that exposure?

Helen, I'd noticed that dark band in this pic sort .......

... It's most likely low developer level in the tank, leaving a light band along the top of that whole roll. So if that's it, it's avoidable in future by more nearly filling the tank.

Been there, done that (unfortunately...).... 99% sure this is the cause of that problem.

Mrs. Padlina, pictured here, was the proprietress of a bed & breakfast where my wife and stayed around 1984 in Amsterdam. We pulled into the city without any lodging reservations. We stopped into the first building we saw and asked if they could direct us to a place to stay for the night. Mrs. Padlina said, "You'll stay here, of course." We stayed for a week. She made the strongest coffee I've ever consumed. As you can see, she was very demonstrative.

This is a dug up in an archaeological expedition from the bowels of my basement along with numerous others today. Scanned from a mounted print. My poor wet printing skills did little justice to this shot or its subject.

Shot with an M4, probably a 35 Summicron and likely on Tri-X.
