Funny, that is what I first thought, but the triangular "blobs" in the backgroud (left) made me think it was the Noctilux. Must be nice to have both lenses.

Don't you think the Nokton is sharper wide open?
This is what I did with the Nokton:
Leica M3, Nokton 50mm f/1.1, Tmax400.

Nice portrait. Yes, looks like a Nokton signature...but there so close to each other, that one can be fooled easily...

...Yes, it is sharper. definitely. But the lens must be properly adjusted to infinity, which is from factory not always done...that's why a lot of users complain about the softness etc...

So I am lucky, mine is also sharp at far distances. I find it a wonderful lens.

Was trying out my new softboxes for the Elinchrom flashes, who said that the M3 couldn't be used in a studio?
Flash cable connector adapter, flash cable, hot shoe adapter and a remote flash trigger - easy as pie!

The softboxes are PHOTAREX quick setup, very nifty! Folds like an umbrella, so you don't have to fiddle with the arms while setting up. Even the octabox was set up in like a minute, and I didn't even swear once!
Seems to be good quality, double diffusers and grid was included.

A word of advice, don't try to change the mount ring while they are unfolded!
