I have received a few suggestions on purchasing thread mount adapters for a Leica M that I have coming. I have about 9 LSM lenses. Someone suggested that Cosina adapters are very good but I was wondering if Leica had some and if used ones are available for sale from members on this forum? I have found out that groups are 28-90, 35-135, and 50-75 are the groups I can use, is that true?

Yes, 28-90 and 35-135 and 50-75 are the three frame-line pairs made. If you buy the CV adapters, you must decide if you want the kind with a cut-out, which takes lenses with infinity locks but cannot be 6-bit coded, or the newer kind. A very slightly less expensive option is www.fedka.com.

I have a Nikon 50f1.4, Voit/Cosina 50f1.5 and a Canon 50f1.4 which are all screw mount. I think the Nikon and the Canon have an infinity lock but the Voit/Cosina doesn't. I have a Canon 35f2/8 and a Voit/Cosina 35f2.0 but I don't remember if they have a lock. There is an Canon 85f2 that I would need the adapter for also. I guess 3 adapters is what I have to get?

No kidding..

if we start giving that kind of title to threads it will be hard to find his way here.

Please tennis-Joe, take no offense, I just found it's funny...

The Canon 35mm should have an infinity lock and the 85mm won't have one. You'll need at least one adapter of each focal length pair. If you use all three 50s and both 35s, and if you change lenses often, it might make sense to have an adapter for each lens.
