leica m4 frame spacing

Hi,All!

I recently purchased a M4.I found it to have frame space issues:

1)the first couple of frames are ok
2)the next several overlap
3)then - 2/3 of the film is blank

maybe I am loading it wrong?

What could be the problem?

If the frames are overlapping your camera has a bad clutch and needs a CLA.

As to your blank frames, it could be bad exposures - this suggests the shutter also may be out of tolerance and in need of a CLA - or you're shooting with the lens cap on.

If the first few frames are okay, then the film is most likely loaded properly.

a bad clutch seems to be the case.
I will search for a CLA expert(I have a very positive experience with Youxin Ye)
