Leica M4-P serial number problem/question

Hi, I'm trying to sell an M4-P over in the classifieds and I noticed that the serial number does not match with range given at kbcamera and at cameraquest. However, there are 28mm framelines. I don't know what to think and I'm a little confused/worried.

I got the same problem. Well is not a problem for me, thats for sure. I got a m4p with a m4-2 serial number.

Maybe the responsable are leica or who ever made the list.

I hope you sale the camera. is a really nice shooter and I love the idea of having a hand meter instead of having numbers and displays in the viewfinder.
