Leica M5... good choice?

Love the grit and texture here. Others are covering up, trying to get out of the weather. You are using ur M5! Sweet.

Thank You dear Huss...
Brave the Storm, battle the elements, an M Film camera does the Job :D
an M5 is PURRfect

Great pictures in this thread!

It seems, I finally will buy one of this lovely cameras in a few days... :)

Now I'm thinking about which would be the perfect lens to attach to it...

Leica M5, Summaron-M 35mm f/3.5, 400-2TMY.

Thanks Huss and Erik

These days it takes me a long time to get through a roll. Just don't see much stuff worth shooting. I'm looking forward to spring/summer when people are outside doing stuff.

Also this was with the F1.5 not the 1.1! I should have used the 1.1 for the top shot as I was carrying it in my bag but never switched it out of put laziness.

Thank you, Giulio.

BLKRCAT, I should have seen that the pictures are done with the f/1.5 Nokton, as I have both lenses. Maybe deep inside I want to use the f/1.1.

Erik.

Ive been using it on the M4 lately (loaded with Delta 3200 at 1600) I find it just too big on the M4. Quite possibly the reason why maybe not a lot of people use the lens. On a regular M body it just feels huge but on the M5 it feels big, but totally manageable.

Erik, your "geometric" games are so interesting... It's a pleasure for my eyes...

BLKRCAT great shots also! Thank you for sharing.

Sug, love your las photo also, it's so sweet, soft...

Thank you, Shab. :)

After shooting a few rolls in my newly acquired BP M4, I'm back on M5 for a new roll. Yes the BP M4 is dead sexy, but I still love my ugly duckling very very much. :)
