I'm developing my summer film rolls... I enjoyed a lot using my M5. Here you have one picture from them:

I like it! Very well done!
What developer did you use?
I just got my first 100ft of ultrafine xtreme 400 and so far it is great to work with. Can’t believe how flat it is, great for scanning.
I can believe how easy and stress free the loading is now. Just line it up per the diagram and close the bottom plate and away you go. Just as easy and drama free as loading my Olympus OM.
HC-110 1+31, I really like this film consider how cheap it is, (I paid 34 USD for 100ft, so less that 2 dollars per roll....)
Love this One too !
Glad you got your baby back james
Thanks.Glad you have your M5 back. What got fixed to make loading better? A new take-up spool?
Apparently the take up spool was weak/broken since I got it, but being my first M5 thought all my loading difficulties were down to user error. Sherry installed a new spool and all is right in the world. 😀
Hm, did she source it from Leica HQ or did she had some spare parts on hand? I've sort of figured out a method that works for me, but still sometimes have mis-loads. I wonder if a new spool would solve the problem. Regardless, I chose the M5 as my entry into the world of film photography, and I don't regret the decision one bit.
I know what you are insinuating and vehemently disagree.
Sherry has a very long history of working on our cameras and good reputation. I think we are lucky to have her.
I find it highly unlikely and far fetched that she stole a spool from another customer and sold it to me. She told me in mid December that she was out of spoke and had to order them from Germany. She got the spools in Mid January and sent me my camera.
Let’s just leave that thread where it belongs, in the trash, and move on with our lives.
