Leica M6(.85 mag.) and Zeiss 25mm ZM lens

Can anyone tell me what frame lines a zeiss 25mm ZM engages when attached to a leica M6 with .85 magnification?

None of the framelines in the .85x M6 will be usable with the 25mm lens (the 35mm framelines are right at the edge of the viewfinder). You will need an accessory finder to compose with that lens.

i am up to exchanging my M2 for your M6. 🙂
The M2 has a lower mag finder so you can see almost 25mm through the full finder edges.

I love my 0.85 m6. I don't use anything below 35mm. I don't mind using a external VF if I really need a 28mm or 25mm.

I'm currently using a 28 on my M6 .85 and it seems the images are a bit wider than the edges of the viewfinder, something I don't particularly mind. But obviously - my opinion only - you ought to get an external viewfinder for a lens as wide or wider than 25.
