Not that this is in the least bit relevant to my photographic life, but I find it curious that the lens is the 28mm Summicron ASPH.
I would have thought a 35mm or 50mm would be "more classic".

I will be waiting for one engraved "Novicestück" but costing less than a regular M9.

This may look weird only for first hand buyers. Consequent owners will shell out money for camera which has belonged to someone who BELIEVES.

Grey engraving - grey leather, logo in circle - very classic, rather tasteful compared to other specials imo.
Get used to it - Leica has been making special editions since 1928....

Actually this is not even a factory design but a special series ordered by Meister Camera, a major dealer.
