Please Contact me if you have any information on the whereabouts of this camera. It is mine and I desperetely need it back in my possesion.
 
really bad news , I'm afraid I' m in Italy I can check only though the web , sometimes happen ............yesterday I ask for a serial number for a m9 sell at 900 euro ( the price of a m6) still no news from the seller ........

I will not speculate or implicate anyone at this point. There are of course circumstances surrounding it's disappearance that I would prefer not to share at this time. Please contact me if you find it for sale anywhere.

Have you contacted camera shops down there or at least give them a heads up ? Can you tell us where in Aus it might have *changed hands* ?

Good read. I can't imagine what the "misunderstanding" would be re: the man from Mexico. How could he have it if he never received it in the first place...... The "misunderstanding" is that he doesn't understand how you were able to find him out!
 
yea good read on the mexico story. The guy is obviously worried he was caught. It is amazing how some people are like you, so honorable that you send the woman a check in the mail vs. a guy who buys an item, makes a false report, waits a year, then trys and make money off the stolen camera...then is such a weak person they say "misunderstanding". Sad really
