Leica LTM Leica O series QA?

Leica M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
Frank,

Thats Agfa APX100 in Rodinal 1:50, I like the grain that this film produces in Rodinal. I could probably smooth it out if I used Xtol but I think it suits the Anastigmat lens on the 0 series...

could any of you guys tell me what might be the cause of the white stripe/band on the right side of the pictures. i get them not on all frames but on maybe half of them. i close the lens whenever i advance the film. thanks!

This is similar to what I see when I occasionally forget to cap the shutter when winding the 0 series.... But, you say that you always cover the lens so I'm not sure. I would get the camera serviced I think!

I haven't developed anything from my 0 series lately, I must pull my finger out!

I should not such a thread ... that must be the ultimative 35mm photo experience.

Hey Gabor,

Did I see on your flickr page that you have posted some pictures taken with an 0 series?!

Just interested to see whether you had succumbed to one?!

Simon

Simon,

shortly after posting my message here on this thread, I received a PM from a RFF friend asking me if I would like to play with hos 0-Serie a little. I could not reject such a kind and generous offer !:)

Getting used to operating the camera takes some time it pays off.

I wonder if the same guy(s)/gal(s) works on both M9s & O-Series. Talk about technological whiplash.

Here's a link to the Flickr 0-Series group ... join, all ye that shoot with one!

And, Flanil, sorry, didn't see your earlier post. That looks like "shutter bounce" to me. Mine used to do that at the highest shutter speed. Had to send it back to Leica, now it's fixed.

Eric, yes I know what you mean! Its a bit of a luxury thing I guess as a Leica II with 5cm Elmar is also a lovely thing but the 0 is just that little bit different and the lens makes it more so perhaps... Its not for everyone but I'm enjoying carrying mine with me.

Regards,

Simon
