GREAT Series Jon !
The 35 ASPH is the BEST Cron Ever
Thanks Helen!
I love the Cron ASPH most of all, but the Cron 1st Version isn't too shabby either. I gave Benny's copy a spin the other day in Chinatown, Yokohama.

AGREED...
Having recently Tried V1 w/ Googles i was Floored by its
Character & Rendering of Details... Though i would Prefer non goggled / less weight
Of course this is just my 2 cents and 2 cents at that... ALL 35 Crons are YUMMY
For my Eye & Heart ...V1 & ASPH are STELLAR
And with re: to BEST Bang for the Buck in Today's Economic Pitfall
That little nokton 40 1.4 is Smashingly GOOD ...its rendering is a cross between the 40 summicron with a Touch of 35 pre asph Lux Magic
At the Moment I am ENJOYING IT
btw: Fun Shots Jon, w/ the V1...Love the Strength and POP in the Tonal Range...Fab Theme Eating in The Streets

Now I discover this thread! This should be made a sticky. I'm getting very interested in 35mm at the moment, esp. the Summicron. 20 pages to go through, yummy
