Leica UV filter

I usually use B+W Multi Coated UV filters. BH Photo and Adorama seem to be out of stock at the moment. I doubt I would see any difference in quality of image produced by the Leica UV filter or the B+W filter. But thought I would throw the question out there before I bought the Leica UV filter.

I've been told that B+W make the filters for Leica and that there is no difference in the glass between the two.

My source told me that the B + W ones are actually better because the mount is slightly larger and facilitates easier removal from the lens. Apparently the Leica ones do sometimes get jammed on.

Until I found all this out, I always paid the premium and purchased Leica ones.

Well, I just bought a used Leica 39mm UVa filter for my 5cm f2.8 Elmar. It was the price of a new B+W Multi Coated filter. Thanks for you help.
