I got my film back that i took with my CL with CLE minolta rokkor 40mm lens... mostly very happy.. at the same time i got a roll developed from my olympus 35RC and this too was pleasing.. I really like the olympus XA i have, and i will try and give it another go sometime but with my glasses i think i found it hard to read the shutter speed sometimes, leading to too many shots, too slow speed.. being shutter priority seems to help remove this problem and as such i had a much higher ratio of acceptably sharp images from both cameras.. my flickr pictures page has a load from my CL roll

the files there are direct from the CD i got from boots where i got them developed.. exactly as is.
I've since brought myself an epson 4490 scanner and have uploaded two of my initial favourite shots as scanned by that at 4800 dpi.. i've had a go in photoshop and sadly i think messed them up a bit.. too dark, and they look soft compared to the boots ones (which are admitedly very much sharpened) ... the problem i had was not knowing what i'm doing and sharpening just revealed horrible artefacts at the full 4800 resolution.. sacrificing quality at that res to get an improved lower resolution would probably let me get images similar or better to the boots ones when viewed at normal-ish sized files.
Anyways the scanning stuff is a bit off topic for here anyways, but please do have a look if you can. I'm quite happy with the motorbike and blossom tree in sunlight pics.
