Hello: Have the Zeiss 21, and 50. Leica 35 1.4 & 75 2.5 Using the Match Technical Coder Kit for the Zeiss lenses works perfectly with the M9. With my M240, the "Match Technical" coded Zeiss lenses are not recognized. It's not a problem with the Zeiss 50 Planar, but with the 21 it is imperative that I manually set a corresponding Leica code. Anyone know why the Match Technical solution will not function on the M240?

No but are you sure your lens needs coding actually? The M240 does very little on the Elmarit 21/2.8 asph to the point that it is difficult to see a difference between coded and uncoded pics. FWIW.

As great as the Zeiss 21 is, especially compared to the DSLR wides, on the M9 the wild color shifting & vignetting at the corners is crazy. I never even thought to try the 21 uncoded on the M240. Will try soon and let you know the results.
