It's a one off production run with the optical formula similar to the lens on the TC1, which is reputed to be stunning. It's so rare this is the first time I see one for sale though I've heard about it over 4 years ago.

From images posted, that 28mm has awesome bokeh but the TC-1 secret sauce is the aperture mechanism - Waterhouse stops! While the LTM version is small and has a nice barrel layout, the aperture is an ordinary bladed design. In either form, that lens is expensive.

I got one from leica shop, Austria, a few days ago . So far so good. Small, sharp,no CA used on my M8 ( must be the 2 aspherics).

I spotted one of these the other day at a camera store in Yokohama. Interesting looking lens, but somewhat pricey...
