It's a one off production run with the optical formula similar to the lens on the TC1, which is reputed to be stunning. It's so rare this is the first time I see one for sale though I've heard about it over 4 years ago.
Too bad it wasn't faster for the money they cost. The Japanese have some amazing fetishes, don't they? ....and they used to have the money to pay for them.
From images posted, that 28mm has awesome bokeh but the TC-1 secret sauce is the aperture mechanism - Waterhouse stops! While the LTM version is small and has a nice barrel layout, the aperture is an ordinary bladed design. In either form, that lens is expensive.
