Will a Minolta M-Rokkor 90 mm f4.0 lens work with my RD-1 it is bayonet mount?

I don't have an R-D1 but I DO have a 90mm Rokkor f4. It fits on my M3 like a glove so I would assume it would work on your Epson (since they are both M-mounts).

You will need an accessory finder, though (135mm equivalent).

All M Bayonets should work on the RD1.
The trick is to find a suitable finder; 90mm equals 135mm due to the RD1 sensor size. 135mm finders are cheap to buy; they are not a popular size.

Huh? Not sure what the question is getting at.

I've been down that road. It's still pretty guestimate with the 135mm finder. You're better off eyeballing it in your VF, get a sense of the area it covers between the brightline frame and the rangefinder patch. In the end, I decided to sell my 90 and shoot wide open and closest with my 50 (to get that OOF background...)
