So hard to go wrong with Ilford film. I've been trending towards Acros for slower film recently but shoot Ilford film regularly. I've yet to find a film from Ilford that doesn't work well for me.

The best developer I've used is Rollei Low Speed. Most of the stuff I've posted is recent though (except that Germany photo) and was developed in cheap Sprint Standard at school, which does a good job, but it's nothing like the bigger name brands.
 
Ilford's my go to black and white film of choice. I've dabbled with others but it's always Ilford I come back to.
