The day in question was spent with an evil SLR sporting a 50mm f/1.2L Canon lens. I'm pretty sure these 3 were at 1.2. The middle photo is related to a strange sighting. There's a place in Ventura called Surfers Point. It's at Seaside Park. Exposed on the pebble beach were the remnants of ancient autos. I've visited that beach plenty of times but never saw these skeletons. They're like motor vehicle versions of finding bleached whale skeletons.

now that is an amazing portrait! really. I was toying with the G1 in the store today.. very tempting... But only my 24 elmarit seems to be able to work properly on it. all my 50mm will be too long

this is a great shot! any reason why you choose xp2? I find the c41 developing a hassle.

Hello dovevadar, I usually use tri-x for 80% of my work....but a local camera store just got some xp-2 in and it is quite rare to find it in Bangkok, so I bought some....I tend to use tri-x more for work and for "serious photos" instead of just around my neighborhood.....but, I bought some xp-2 to try out with my new lens (35mm nokton 1.2)...thanks for the compliment....cheers, michael

I used to lust for a Noctilux, but the Nokton 1.2 quelled my desire.
