Square crops from 3:2 images. The DP2Q permits 1:1, but these are based on decisions in front of the LR screen.

I've just recently bought a Sigma DP3 Quattro, having been thinking about it for some time. I have owned Foveon SLRs in the past but have never been able to get images the way I want easily, so they tend to get little use. I just can't get to grips with SPP but I read that the OOC jpegs of the Quattros were much better so I decided to give the DP3 Q a go.
This is a shot from my first outing with the camera. I knew that the usual postcard view of Gesto Farm on Skye would suit the focal length of the DP3 Q's lens so headed off to catch the warm evening light. Here is the result, which was shot in jpeg with the Landscape preset and processed in Photoshop Elements.

Here is another photo from Skye using the Sigma DP3 Quattro. The Landscape preset was used. This is not one of the regular views on Skye but the light was briefly interesting and worth a go. I think the Quattro has handled it quite well.

Has anyone done or seen any portrait/strobe photography with the DP3Q on its own or with the FT-1201 Conversion Lens?

I keep going back and forth about whether or not I should sell this odd camera. Sigma DP3 Quattro.

From a series around the yard during this period of viral house arrest.
All on the SDQ/30 1.4, including this one in color— for the sake of the skink.

I'm curious about the FT-1201. There's not a whole lot of information on it online. I recently got a 100mm for my film SLR and I've been enjoying that focal length a whole lot.
Anyone here using a FT-1201?
