Here ya go Dave. My ala carte M7 with 50mm Rigid Summicron The cron is actually as new without a scratch on it. Elements are clear as can be. A rare find for these old lenses!

Dang Dave...I'd never seen this thread before; but I've given serious thought about a silver lens for my M4-2 as opposed to a black one. I figured the contrast would look good and this thread is visual proof.

Hopefully in another month or two I'll have enough saved up for a decent lens and then I can send DD's 40 'cron back to Hotlanta with my eternal gratitude for his trust and generosity.

These are nice. Always liked that look. I got the black M9 and have bought 2 silver ZM lens to get the two tone look.

Great finder and rangefinder, sharpest lens, 1/2000 shutter & externally visible meter readout, lightest camera...
