Let's see your Leica 50mm Lux Pre-ASPH Photos!

Buy an M3 for your Summilux 50mm v1. This wonderful lens deserves it. Beautiful work.

Erik.

Thanks lot Erik.
I did seen your pictures and I know that even you do like this Version 1. Out of focus of this version it has not been replicated in the next versions, I think it is the double lens close to the film that makes the difference, so it is true that even the Noctilux f / 1 looks like. In the case of Summilux it seems to have swirling more in the blur. I know that you do like the lack of distorsion of this Summilux; Taylor & Hobson design is still pleaseance in it's global rendition. Have nice pictures with it.
Yes, M3 is its dead, but I fall in love for M2 (... in my case with M4-P framelines) so for instance it's Ok, next time I hope for the MM first version, as well as descrived "Menos", would be the best digital camera for B/W.

Cheers and "ad maiora".

Wonderful.

Somehow I like the tonality of these a little bit more than your shots with the Summaron f/2.8. These are really perfect. Maybe it is the lens that suits this film/developer combination better.

Erik.

Erik,

agreed. I would say the lux shots were better exposed, in both cases I was guessing exposure.

Distortion Not real sharp to 5.6. Very good on coma control for night work.

I kept my Summarit until a ASPH Lux came along. But to each his own
