Should have waited for some natural light... Had to borrow a digi p&s to take this because I was too impatient to shoot it with film...

hi,
is it possible if you can explain a bit more how you attach the 40.5 to the hood please? i have the 12526 hood on my 'lux 35 as well but still figuring a way to add filter to this combo. Gabor's method of using rubber O-ring is an interesting option but it's nice to see other choices as well.
thanks a lot in advance!

Man, I just find those grips so ugly.
I'm sure they are comfortable though.

It is comfortable. The workmanship is superb. Tom A makes great products (I love my Mr. B soft release!) and is a sponsor of the site. My B&W image above wasn't great, so here's a second attempt. I actually don't find the grip to be beautiful when it's on the camera, but I don't own the camera to look good; I own it to make images. In one's hand, the grip feels terrific. The machining is quite impressive and it is solid, solid, solid.

Man that is one fugly grip, especially on a classic M2. Crocs are comfortable too but people hate them for good reason!

Hmmm, I would be asking Penzes that same question. I´m thinking he must be acquiring his equipment just to show us pictures of it.frank, how many cameras have you owned simply because you liked how they looked?![]()
.....of course I´m not the least envious of his kits or ability to photograph them.

I just screwed the filter into the hood, i won't be very secure (mine dropped a few times) but a little bit of blu tac will do the job
