Here's my Leica M (1957 M2) wearing a 50/2 Jupiter 8 and cameraleather.com verdigris kidskin leather.
My God, but she's a pretty thing.

A beauty she is indeed, Erik! The M2 has been on my wishlist since I first held one and had a look through its magnificent viewfinder. Got the CL instead, due to the built-in meter. Still longing for an M2, tho. (For one like yours exactly, with rewind knob and w/o self-timer lever.)

Nice combo, John. You don't need anything else..
Did you paint this one yourself?

Hi,
Decided to take a picture of my M4-P. Curently using Zeiss ZM lenses.
50mm f1.5 and 35mm f2.8
The Zeiss lenses are very nice with superb imaging quality, great contrast and color.

I'm beginning to really miss my M6 - it's currently in the hands of Malcolm Taylor.
Well, he said January, so we'll be reunited soon I guess. ):

After a year of lurking and reading up, I finally splurged on an M8 with a 40mm Summicron-C and a Voigtländer 15mm Super-Wide Heliar.
I am loving the set up.
The guy who sold it to me put the somewhat tacky looking carbon fiber skin which has somehow grown on me. I'm just gonna let it stay on till it starts peeling and fraying enough to poke me in my eye or something. haha
Not pictured is a nice A&A half-case which caters for the M-grip too.
Pardon my funky cellphone pictures.
Thanks for viewing, you guys.

I also went back, using my thin Leica wrist-straps on all bodies - way faster to use these cameras in and out of a bag.

Thank you Helen by teknopunk.com, on Flickr
