Thanks. That's an average photo though, you should see it in person
It's the CV 35/1.7 Ultron.

Huubl,
That is a beautiful M4. From the serial number, it looks like production ~1966, just like mine. Yours looks like new.
I'm of two minds about the M3/MP style levers. I thought that would be the way to go for me, but I've changed my mind and will stay with the stock M4 levers. I think they look better. Though, I like the M3/MP wind lever better than the plastic-tipped M4-M7 lever. To each his own.

Hey this is not Huubl's, it's mine! Mine! It's my precious!
As for the levers I am a big fan of the old style M2-M3 levers and the camera came this way so I was in luck. I have nothing against the "new" levers though, it's a question of personnal taste.

Someone before asked me to post a shot showing the size of the Voigtlander 35mm Nokton, so here is a little pic (top image is the rustic old hood I bought for my 40 summicron of ebay, and bottom is the nokton.)
P.s. A thought just occured to me - there isnt a possiblity that the lens shade shown in the top photo would intrude at all into the summicron 40's field of view is there?
J.

Years and years, but it only returned from the beauty parlor in Japan a few weeks ago.

You might try and get a few shots with the 75 cron before you decide- a much newer design, and MP's are going cheap these days.

Congrats on the lens. I see you placed the original M4 levers back (well not the rewind lever) and put the chrome washer in place of the black one. Hello HuubL! I replace the old levers just because I thought original looks a bit better. But still I prefer the old style rewind lever and the chrome washer! That lens is heavy and smooth, I like it so much!
