That's a nice combo Chris. What's your experience with the VC meter?
gotta tell ya, ron, i dont use it too much. i'm a spotmeter guy and i'm pretty much always using my old sekonic l-488. but for the few times i have used the vc meter it seems to have always worked fine.

Ahh murakami. So weird and so oddly good.
The m6's on the other hand are not as weird, but still good.

Black paint M4 on my desk. Just taken 2 rolls of film with this machine yesterday.
Cool brassing! Any details about the shutter dial mod? :-D

Looks like one of Tom's cold weather shutter speed dials. I have one for my M3 that I use in the Winter.
It gives you a paddle that can be manipulated while wearing gloves.

Thanks for the interest. In fact I have no idea where this dial is originally from as it came with the M4 from the former owner. The paddle makes adjusting the shutter speed easier, but will crash with the external light meter if one is fitted at the hotshoe. I also have the original dial of this M4 and is considering to put it back.

I don't get it... Why some users don't show their LEICA number by "photoshoping" it?... Is it some kind of secret?.. What the reason of this?..

Some people make a point of not putting the serial numbers of their gear online. Apparently someone could claim that you stole it from them or something.

Theres a lot of people who do that with their serial numbers...
Is there any other answer to my question?..

Basically, no. People originally did it in order to avoid others claiming it was their stolen property. If you are the original owner you should never have to think about it.
However, it has also become "etiquette" to blot out most of the serial number in these situations.
