Let's see your Leica M

Bob, that's a pretty amazing couple of drawers you have there. You keep your stuff in a metal cabinet? I do too, right beside the furnace room in the bottom of the house. :) I see you're keeping Tom A in business all by yourself! ;)

Here's my 0.72x MP with its new 15/4.5. Thanks Stephen!

The new CV 15mm is a very nice lens, much sturdier than the previous version and it doesn't seem to vignette wide open. It's my first experience with one of the newer CV lenses and I'm really impressed with it.

MP or MP3? There is big difference.:)

Hi Penzes,- Nice camera! :) I`m sure you will put it to good use!!

At last... from left: Nikkor 50 f1.4 LTM, Nikkor 85 f2.0 LTM, Leica 50 Rigid Summicron f2.0, Leica 35 Summicron ver 4, Canon 50 f1.2 LTM, Canon Sonnar 50 f1.5 LTM with Walz Hood, Topcor 50 f2.0. Of course, the bodies to go with these lenses... Shinatro Blackpaint M3 and Leica M8 Chrome.

I just realised I have a pair of everything, except my Topcor. Oops... Poison coming!!!

Well it's an MP3 but there isn't that much difference, mainly the solitary framelines and the gussied up exterior. It's still basically an MP.

That metal drawer unit is a vast improvement over my previous storage Peter, it's made by Rousseau in Quebec.
Very fancy! I use standard Steelcase office cabinets, but I must see if they make dividers, I like the look of those!

Edho, where did you get this lens?.. :eek:I want such too... Is it Canada made?.. Is there some photos, that you could show, made by this lens?..

Hi Nugard,

I have just bought this lens from second hand source. It was made in Canada. Haven't got a chance to test it yet but I will post pictures taken by this lens once I have got some.

Nugard, if you're referring to the metal hood, I believe you can find them on ebay. This should be the 35 lux pre-asph.

Edho,

Are you to use a filter on this hood?

Hi ZoomP,

Yes, it is a 35mm lux pre-asph version 1(silver version) with google. I think filter does not fit into this lens so I am going to use it with the Ollux hood for protection.

Hi Peter,

I see that the German tool-cabinet maker Bott is represented in your country:
http://www.storage-solutions.co.uk/shop/shop.aspx?c=533
They make cabinets like the one sepiareverb has, with the same kind of dividers. Their products are of a very high quality. We use them at my workplace to keep instruments and machineparts.

Thanks zerobuttons! It looks like Bott only sell their mobile stuff (vehicle racking & shelving) in the USA. It does seem that workshop storage companies would have these products though. Steelcase make office cabinets, but their systems are designed for the storage of paperwork, not solid objects.

Sorry for the bad iPhone pics, but this just arrived via mail :) 1957 M3 DS

The M3 is a combined xmas present from my fiancee and my family. I should be receiving my IIIc back from Youxin on Monday/Tuesday after a recent CLA and beam splitter replacement.

I never saw the nokton 50/1.5 mounted on an m3 , that lens is rather large compared to my 50/2.5 on the M3. Nice setup there though.
