rlouzan just posted a link to my M4-2 and M2, both pretty beaten up.
They wear nicely, I think. Not as "classy" as a black paint camera, but they work wonderfully

that's a little self-righteous.
are hot-rods only nice looking to the person who customized them?
bob
Why's that "self-righteous?" All those scratches and dents represent experiences -- experiences that mean nothing to me, because I don't know what they are and I wasn't there. I appreciate that the camera is being used, but it has no meaning for me, and I think it looks ugly. Now, if I'm the one who put the scratches and dents into the camera, then it's the cliched different story.
PS -- I think hotrods look stupid too.

Nice addition to my family, M6, CV 35/1.7:

Michael--
Nice kit, but is it ever an issue that the shutter speed dials rotate opposite to each other?
I think with two generally similar cameras... that would just kill me!

Hey Simon and JSU,
It's a good question, and to be honest, I thought something similiar when I bought the m2 to compliment my m6ttl.....but in actuality, I only use/work with one camera at a time....
I bought that m6ttl about 9 or 10 years ago and used it everyday and took it everywhere. I bought that m2 along with an m3 about a year and a half ago from a member here as "back-up" cameras. I am not comfortable walking around with more than one camera swinging from my body...
I know some people use more than one camera when they are out shooting, but it doesn't feel right to me...so, I guess to answer your question, "no" it is not an issue for me because of how I shoot, but I can understand how it would be to someone who shoots 2 bodies simultaneously.
cheers, michael

I haven't posted to this thread in a long while. Here's my 0.85x M6 with 75/1.4. For low light shooting, I add my CV35/1.2 and toss the whole lot into a Domke F-5XB.
Where can I get a grip like this for an M4?

I was in Shanghai for a few days early this week and had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Zhou and got a black half case with red stitches. Later that day I visited Xing Guang Camera mall, 7 floors of new/used photo equipment for both digital and film enthusiasts and found the tan case with matching strap for the M6.

Glad you liked it, I could have spent more hours there but was on a tight schedule.

This is my carry-everywhere kit. Took me a while to figure out what I liked, I bought and sold a few lenses and bodies but I really like the M6, and finally got my second body last week!
