I don't think M5 is ugly. It's just different. But design wise, it's big for my hand and I always have problem with the strap hanging strangely on my neck like the M5. The built in meter is no problem easy to use. I also use CR-9 adaptor for battery stepdown.

I've never held an M5. Have to try one someday, but I am partial to the smaller bodies.

Mine is a bog-standard gray M9.
If you google M9, you will see plenty of photos of an identical camera. Pointless to post them here.
Your picture would not be pointless, it would be Personalized. Add some flair to it, put it with a neat background setting, make it 'your' picture of the M9. That's what we're having fun with here.
You can google "beautiful woman" and find lots of pictures of beautiful women, but we still keep taking them. More pictures are never pointless, they are always Personal, and that's what makes them fun.
So, let's see your M9!

Pirate, your images are loading slooowly, not for the first time I think. Maybe linking it from DA is not best idea...

I should probably size them down a bit too. They are edited for web use- 72 dpi and all. I don't have flickr but I do have facebook, just can't stand the way they make your images to their size and nothing else. Slow images are better than no images, but I'll size them down from now on, that should help. Thanks.

Thanks. It's Like New in Box. In actual fact, I think it has never been used before. The strap lugs still mint. Loaded with a roll of TriX and 50 lux. Thinking whether to mount the VC meter 2 or just use my handheld meter.

Yes they are.
Kobalux, Avenon, Avenar these are all different names of one lens.

I have one in like new condition also. Sold my Chrome M6 afterwards.
It's better than M6. I believe that the top cover is brass, Black Chrome Plated.
That almost makes it like an MP without the meter.

I have one the same but yours is in much better condition.
It's basically an M6 without a meter. Enjoy![]()
