Are you trying to do the Hektor thing with your iPhone![]()
Haha BB, you got me there ;-)
Yes, it was me, playing around silly with iPhone apps - why can't there be an Adobe Lightroom for iOS?
That would be finally one reason, to buy an iPad…

Beautiful M2 ! I can't wait, to get my hands on the first meter less Leica M, I just bought Yesterday ;-)
I am tired, working through a backlog of film scanning, editing, internet surfing and Formula One watching.
Here is the M8.2 sitting with Hektor next to me, M9 and Nikkor 5cm ƒ1.4 in the back.
When will Adobe finally bring out Lightroom for iOS with full feature set and desktop implementation (used here a silly iPhone app with …)?
Nice gear ! and nice picture. How do get this black frame around the picture ?

Yvan, I use "Photoshop Express" for the iPhone.
You can make simple adjustments to your iPhone photographs in the app and save the final JPG in your "camera roll" (oh how I hate that naming of that thing in this electronic device).
The app has crude borders, which you can add around your photos - this is one of them.

I use PS Express on my iPhone too. It's nice in a pinch and gets the job done for these little phone pics.

Thank you But unfortunatly I don't have an IPhone. Only a Mac with PS and Lr, and a... Blackberry. Do you know where I can find such an app for the I Mac.Yvan, I use "Photoshop Express" for the iPhone.

The iMac is a full system, right?
I think you would have to buy the full version of Photoshop for that.
You can get "Gimp" free from the internet and it is very close to Photoshop and a very good program instead.

May I ask...
Does your 35/1.2 wobble in the M2 mount, when focussing the lens (rather stiff focus ring)?
No, no wobbling here. The focus ring has a nice steady feel.

Bill, thanks for the wobble info ;-)
I handled Yesterday sebastel's 35/1.2 sample and his was very light to the touch and silky smooth - perfect! Looks like one has to use the 35/1.2 to break it in then.
Here is a proper photograph of the M8.2 with Hektor taken with Nikkor-S.C 5cm ƒ1.4:

Well, it's an old Carl Zeiss lens for Contax Rangefinder, together with a Leica M3.
Unfortunately, I dont have the fitting camera....
The finder is a revolver finder from Zeiss, too. I am using it, because I dont have a single one for 21mm. If you turn it, it will show up framelines for 21, 35, 50, 85, 135mm.
Well, both things do not really fit the camera. The Contax RF to Leica M mount adapter is really badly made and the lens do not really fit well. I would not recommend this.
The finder also works in infinity position only, otherwise, it will scratch the top of the camera.....
I will give it a try anyway as I have the lens but not the right camera for it.
I should buy me a Contax RF, I think!

Thanks very much. The strap really is lovely and suits the camera so well. I wouldn't want any other type of strap on there!

I'd really love to see some photos from that lens.

Me, too!
I think, it will be hard to photograph with a 21mm for me. I am used to 50mm.
I don't have a scanner, yet. Really sorry...
