Let's see your Leica M

I've never felt so attached to a camera.
One of my M2s taken with a 50mm Summicron on a Ricoh GXR.

A Beauty indeed Craig ...YAY !!!!!
love to see some of your shots with the nokton, its a Lovely lens
wish I had spent more Time with it

ditto but it's my second time round with an F1.1, I didn't get along with it the first time but I've grown to appreciate the 50mm FOV more since them :) will ost some stuff up on here later, always paying on the links below otherwise.

looks nice! I've aways liked the rendering of this & the 50 F1.4 Nikkor but never really got along with the Nikon RF bodies.

I don`t have a 50/2 in screwmount and like the 50/2.0 Nikkor-H-C, so I bought an Amedeo adapter (again).:)

there's really something special with the form of the Summilux 50 pre-asph's.

Johans early Summilux is the rare version of the Summilux I with the different focusing grip. The difference is that on the normal version the higher parts of the grip are smooth and the lower parts knurled. On Johans version it is just the other way around.
The two colors of the "chrome" on this lens are normal. This lens is partially made of anodized aluminium and partially of chromed brass.

Erik.

Thanks Erik, very interesting information........ That was my first and only lens (50mm summilux V1) for the first couple of years when I started to use Leica cameras and lenses.....I don't think I will ever sell mine due to many reasons.....

cheers, michael
