Yes, it's the 1979 Barnack Camera. My ex-business partner gave me the set with the M4-2 and the R3. I've had them for about 15 years and I use the Summilux lenses pretty regularly on the M6 and on the Fuji cameras.

I thought as I don't see a lot of M setups with flashes, I'd grab some snaps of my M9 with my SF58, both sporting matching black dots. Works lovely with the Zeiss 25/2.8.

I posted a pic of this some years back with a Granite Kidskin covering. In recent years it started to turn black in the areas that I handled it the most and I was bothered by the black surround on the camera back it self. The camera was also close to mint back then and has since been dropped onto asphalt after the strap caught something putting the ding on the right side by the advance lever. DAG kindly pounded it out as part of a CLA as the wind-on started to rub on it. I also had him covert it to single stroke and calibrate my V2 50 lux which thankfully I got after the drop.
So I got rid of the old covering, sanded down the back to a slight patina of grey and put on some new grey Griptac. I also took some nail polish remover to the front four screws to bring them to a light grey color....It's good to go for years to come, see ya' in a few years folks!

Well, as long as we're showing off.
OK, so it's a bit more than a Leica, but I swear there's a black paint M4 there.

Just got this summicron 50mm with my tax return a month or two ago. Hasn't seen much use unfortunately, but will be getting a lot of love very soon.

Hi every one,
I know I have not been very active since I registered but I have been a long time follower of this great site. I thought the best way to introduce myself was to show you my trusty M7 fitted with one of the leather straps I make by hand.

I have an old Halliburton case I plan on using for my M3.
How 'snug' did you make the foam?
Do the bodies/lenses 'slide in' or do you have 'push' them in place?

They're all very snugly held by the foam. I have to push them into place. I didn't show it, but I also have a 40g silicon tin in the case with the equipment for longer-term storage to absorb moisture. And you'll want to leave at least one inch of foam between items for proper cushioning.
