Let's see your Leica M

It is better centered and much easier to use. Just the size ....

That kit is beautiful for sure! 😎 Did BP 35/2.8 Summaron lenses exist ?

Huge!
But looks like it's better centred than the smaller Leitz options that came with the SA?
Beautiful kit by the way Lem.

Got it this way used and even though it was a nice re-skin, not to my tastes so I opted to change it.

Aki Asahi 4008 and some harrowing adjusting and now it's more stealth and more to my tastes.

Amazingly this didn't need a CLA after I received it. NOS off the shelf first year production Leitz M6 Classic from a store in the Netherlands. Smooth is an understatement. I considered a vIII 35 'cron, but this lens is sharp and contrasty for my taste so it stays. Fun to use.

My worn TTL with 75/2 (lens currently for sale in the Classifieds).

Is the shutter speeds dial different on M6 millennium and the LHSA? At least some millenniums seem to brass on the shutter dial. My LHSA looks like it is made of plastic. It may not and the black paint just makes seem like it. Can anyone tell one way or the other?

Archlich, What are your results like with the Miyazaki converted tessar? Do you like the characteristics? Contrast? etc.

Afaik all Millenniums have brass shutter speed dials. Someone wrote in the Millennium thread that the dial is interchangeable with the LHSA dial.

I have a BP M6ttl Millennium and the shutter spread dial is brass, mine is starting to "brass".

One of my good friends out here in Bangkok just got a BP MP3, I gave him a "tutorial" today on how the Leicavit works. We had to take a chrome 43mm filter off of one his other lens to put it on his BP 50mm Summilux lens because I told him I would feel more comfortable handling this awesome combo with a filter on the lens.

The M6ttl millennium is mine and it was very interesting to compare it side by side with the MP3. The MP3 is truly a beautiful camera and it feels and looks so good, I doubt I will ever be able to afford one, but I am happy that I get to use my friend's. 🙂

That was me. When i had an LHSA M6TTL i swapped the dial for the Millennium one. That one looks and feels so much better. Did you guys know that the top portion of the dial, the part with the numbers on it, is held to the bottom part with a decal ?? 🙂

Purdy cameras.... I love that MP3, even though I've never even seen one in real life 🙂
