Posted elsewhere, but I can't resist saying how much I'm enjoying this compact combo of M6 and 50 Elmar-M. Ideal for wearing in my bum-bag on the motorbike it's sitting on, even in the dirt - it's a GS model BMW.

Congrats -- what a bold move to leave it uncovered! When I stripped the vulcanite off my two M4s, I was tempted to leave the bare metal exposed, too. In the end, I covered them again.

My First Leica

My First Leica

It came via UPS just today.

I've wanted a Leica for years, and bought this as a retirement present for myself.

I loaded a roll of Fuji Velvia 100 slide film and look forward to taking it out for some pictures of the beautiful Arizona desert.

My 1958 M2 with Canon LTM 50mm 1.4:) and one of Tom's soft shutter releases, (in green my favorite colour).
