Light metering M-P 240 vs M-240

Is it possible that at the same time and place different camera has different exposure reading? In my case, I found that every time the M-P 240 read around 0.5 to 1 stop lower than M 240 when using it to take picture from the same source at the same time. If yes, why?

Yes, with the same lens. It is 35lux FLE which was switched back and forth among a M240 and two M-P 240. Both M-P 240 got the same reading which generally lower than M240.

Interesting. I think you need another M240 in your test set up to be able to make any generalized conclusions. Still, a lot of M240 owners underexpose their files so according to your findings the same owners would require even more underexposure from an MP240 under the same conditions.
