This very old footage of London has been going around in the past few days, with everyone seem astonished and excited to see how London was some years ago.
Made me think how London on the one hand is chasing film makers (and photographers) as terrorists, on the other celebrates these marvels of the past. I'm sure a lot of people would not want to be filmed or be suspicious of the filmmaker.

Very moving, thank you for the link. London stands almost the same but the people in the film are like shadows, reminders of our brief, yet parallel trajectories across time. Quite a find too. Amazingly it predates Dziga Vertov's similar proto-documentary (of a different city) 'Man with a Movie Camera'.

Thank's for the link, I enjoyed the film I have been a London Taxi driver
for over forty years and have seen huge changes in my city in its architecture
traffic and population ,but it still remains one of the worlds great cities.
