one black p and one black 7, i think.
and no reserve!

It will be interesting to see how high these go. He seems to have a lot of nice Canon stuff there. Wonder why he's selling from Sweden on Canadian eBay...?
The black 7 even looks like a legit factory-black job -- at least the wear spots are brass. The P I'm not so sure about -- it looks as if it may be showing chrome under the wear marks, suggesting the possibility of an aftermarket repaint.
About the price of the 85/1.8 -- yes, it's on the stiff side, but considering that it probably performs at least as well as a pre-ASPH 90mm f/2 Summicron, that price might be justifiable purely as a usable item!
I suspect there's still a core of P, 7, and 7s cameras out there that are used for serious professional-level picture-taking -- the cameras are certainly robust enough to stand up to it, and in terms of usability features (except for metering) they don't lag that far behind modern RFs.
Since there's no way to backward-adapt currently-available M lenses to a screwmount body, and since fast tele lenses are one area in which Voigtlander hasn't yet offered a modern alternative, a serious user who needs a portrait-length tele for his "shooter" Canon would need to be looking for a lens like this. Obviously some such person found it!
