Wow, great day in the mail today! I came home to find three packages waiting for me.
The first contained an Oly XA (including the A11 flash) that I bought on the auction site for $30. The second contained a change bag that I also bought on the auction site. And the third contained a cute little Rolleicord sent to me by Tostel from here on RFF. This is my first ever TLR. It's a Rolleicord 1a Type (3). I can't wait to run some film through it. Of course, wouldn't you know it, these packages all arrived right at the beginning of a week that will be amongst the busiest for me this fall. :bang: So I likely won't be able to get out to shoot some film until the weekend. But now I sure have a lot to look forward to.

That's fantastic. I love MP's . If it weren't financially crazy, I would have a silver one in addition to my black.
What's the lens? I can't tell from the photo.
Is it new?
Congrats!!!!

High,
it's 50mm f2 nearly new summicron,
but of course I bought both as used for less money.
There must be some people who by it new
and sell ist after a year.
Crazy, for me it's realy not very cheap buy it used.
Fortunatly you won't see any scraches ore something else,
in my eyes these wondefull parts are in the region of A.
But why some people throw away the papers, boxes an so one,
I don't now....

The Bessa L that I bought off of Pnet arrived in the mail. It came in the original packaging and doesn't seem to have a mark on it. "Like new" is an understatement of its condition. So I am thrilled. Now my CV 21/4 has a permanent home.
One question to those of you who own this combination: is it usual for the lens not to center exactly? When I screw the lens in, the dot between the two f/4 marks on the distance scale always comes up a little short of dead center. Obviously, this is unimportant. I'm just curious.

Not at all unusual, Rafael, though from what I have heard it's more likely to end up a little past center, like over toward 1:00 o'clock. On my Bessa-L the 15mm stops right about center, as does the 50 Skopar in its adaptor on my M2.Rafael said:One question to those of you who own this combination: is it usual for the lens not to center exactly? Marc,
As already said above, the lens not 'centering' doesn't seem to be a problem. My 15mm is just off when tightly screwed on and I haven't seen any ill effects in my pictures. Congrat's on your Bessa L & enjoy!

A box of Rollei Pan 25 just turned up from retrophotographic in London. Unfortunately has coincided with a proper bleak English autumn weekend (torrential rain and its already twilight out there) so I've had to content myself only with loading it in to the Agfa

Here's what was waiting for me when I got home...
First was a Fed-Ex box from Freestyle
-500' of Arista Pro 50 (rebadged Pan F, past date special, $11/roll).
-300' of Arista.II 400
-300' of Arista.II 100
I was running low on film, so I decided to just go ahead and fix that problem!
Second was a UPS box from fellow RFF'er nikon_junkie: a 90 Summicron. Its an impressive piece of glass, can't wait to try it out!
