I just got the Voigtlander Prominent Proximeter II. The lens and optics are as good as new. And it comes with the manual and original case. It is great!
I am going to visit the comic fair this year in Hng Kong. I and test it there.

'Just got my Leicatime half-case for my RD-1. Scored it on da' Bay. Incredible condition, looks like it was never used. I'll be traveling the end of August and thought that the RD-1 might need a bit of protection.

Voigtlander Snapshop Skopar arrived today! It's on my Bessa L now, and man is it a nice little piece. The focusing with click stops is excellent, smooth and easy to use. Now I have to figure out what films to load in all my little beasties...

Falling in love again...
Just got my second Bessa R in the mail yesterday. And am realizing what a knucklehead I was to have sold the first one.
What a joy to use.
I had planned on doing some 35mm pinhole work up here but forgot that the 3/8 to 1/4 reducing bushing for the thripod was not in the Zorki but in the Kiev--which I didn't bring along. Now I have the Bessa and i did bring the pinhole body cap and the LTM extension tubes. Just need to find some time off. I certainly have the scenery!
And the excellent Zorki 3m I've had as my main shooter can now get a visit to the Russian health spa that it so deserves.

Got my J-3 yesterday. Oleg K. was right: the scars show that it has been cruelly handled. However, the glass is OK and it mounts on my Zorki without too much trouble. Also got a package from the US. Yuri B. was generous enough with his time to find me a few things I needed -- at no profit to www.fedka.com.

The best camera is one that still works!
A CV 75mm Helliar arrived today from RFFer Mike Goldberg. A nice deal and beautifully packed I might say!
What a lovely little lens ... I can't wait to do some portraits with it, I have read so much praise for this lens!

...but the Nikkor 85/2.0 from RFFer Roland (ferider) arrived to day. I am excited. Roland was great throughout. I have no clue why it took the postal service 2 weeks to get a check to California. However, it only took a weekend to get the lens to me. I'm stoked!

Got a Contax Tvs, a posh P+S in the mail today. Slow lens speed but everything else seems great. This should take care of my colour neg snaps needs.

I love my Tvs Frank! Been shooting the T2 more lately, only because it is easier to keep in my pocket during the summer when I have no big pockets. It really is a great camera for color.

It's here! It's here! It's here! Oh, joyous day!
The M5 from Keith in Australia has found its way to me! It is bloody gorgeous! It's sitting beside me on the couch as I type this, I look over at it, I turn back to the keyboard, and I can still smell it in its luscious Luigi leather case. Other M's are feminine whereas the M5 is definitely masculine. My black Summicron is the proper vintage for it. This will be interesting!
