Look what came in the mail

Bought 5 days ago, from some eBay seller in the USA... a silver VIDOM...

I certainly wasn't expecting the thing to be delivered to the UK within a week!

It also looks 100% better than my previous setup... some 3rd-party hot-shoe block, to let me fit a Russian multi-turret finder.

This was in the mail today:

A package of 10 rolls XP2:D (in the right background: My Fed-2)

New "Black Beauty"

New "Black Beauty"

I wanted another M body and decided to get an MP instead of another M6TTL. The "6" has a .58x VF and the MP has a .72x. Oooo, she's a "black beauty", for sure. Just loaded it with a roll of Kodak 400CN and hope to have some results to show by tomorrow. But for now, here's a couple of it taken with my LX2.

I love the UPS man!

Four parcels and a CLA...:D

IID, bought just before Christmas, arrived in the New Year, CLA'd by CRR. (2 parcels)

50mm Skopar (1 parcel)

Yellow filter (1 parcel)

IID Jan 2007.jpg

...first roll through this weekend

Oh, and for those bitching about the M8 upgrade, this started life in 1930 as a Model I - it was upgraded to IID spec in 1934... The year Sellotape and frozen food were invented.

Regards,

Bill

Mark: Gorgeous!

Bill: Ditto ... man, that IID in black is suh-weeeet, especially with the yellow bra. ;)

Nice, Bill!!!

And I'll bet the 1934 tape doesn't stick anymore and the frozen food has lost a bit of flavor. ;)

After 18 days my Canon 50/1.2 finally arrived.

(couldn't help but add one of my new CL too!)

For my Mir...When my M42>L39 Adapter arrives
It is in M- to E+....Glass is LN, Focus is silky smooth with no bumps. Body in M- (no scapes, scraches, or lettering missing paint). Blades are 95%...Just a tad of oil on a few blades and limited to the tips...I think this has 9+ blades..and goes to f/22 (1.7f to INF)...Focus from 1 foot to INF....
Now If the Mir would get here !!!....The Ukraine Mail is sooo Slow...

To my big surprise an black Jupiter 8 lens arrived today, wasnt expecting it until next week. But thats all good, it now sits on my all black Zorki waiting for that damn LTM to M-adapter to arrive. Then it will be on my Leica CL.

Its one smooth and fine lens I tell you, impressive for sure to be a FSU piece of gear.

Okay Woooo!

Last week, my Canon FL 55/1.2 came.
and picked up my M4-P and Summitar 50/2 Wed :) (it's almost two a.m now, so I gotta call it a new day)

I don't know how to post pictures or I would like the rest of ya. I took pictures all eager and I can't get them up :(

The M4-P feels so good in my hands! Golly, this is exciting!
and when you take the FL 55/1.2 off, the M4-P feels light! Great mind trick..

corazon: Not getting it up is indeed a bummer...
