Look what came in the mail

Another birthday camera in the box. It may not be a Rolleiflex, but it is still quite nice. This is from late 1946 when Argus was coating the lenses and the Argoflex E could still shoot 120 film.

Love that case, they do tend to come a bit dear though. Yet there is not much about this hobby that does not. I especially like the brown lizard cover on the M3, Camaerleather.com? They were out of the brown when I did mine and "settled" for black lizard, looks pretty darn good.

I'm at about a camera a week at the moment...gotta stay off ebay

A Pentax Super Program w/ Pentax F 35-70 f/3.5-4.5
Camera works, well, the Electronic button used to change shutter in M or A mode sometimes hangs.... But, not a big deal....
The lens is in really good shape. probably the best kit 35-70 early AF lens as far sharpness/contrast/and color rendition! And quite compact also.
I will have this camera CLA'd at a local repair shop... I know have 2 film camera's from my past

the FedEx guy just arrived and dropped off my GR1s. it needed a new top LCD & VF display, replacement of a couple of corroded looking screws on the bottom, and a cleaning of the optics. now its 'so fresh and so clean.'
