On the XE-1, with the 27mm (no aperture ring) . . . you must change aperture with a dial on the back ? or is it like the Nikons hold a top button down at the same time rotate a dial on the back ?

According to fw update info for the xe1 and xp1, looks like dial in the back.

From the press release.

"If you are using either of these lenses which do not feature aperture ring, this firmware update allows you to adjust the aperture setting by using the command dial."

I gotta say, I love the 18mm as well. I really like how close it can focus. I would definitely like to try a silver 27mm on my xpro, but I think I will just wait for the 56mm.

3 silly pics I take half an hour ago with the 27 pancake....sun shine but is noon in the seaport, so there could be haze....all default settings on camera.....
