Bob,
Nice one. The Biogon doesn'Mt look bad at all! In fast, the guy's face seems to be very sharp...

Doc, good one! Post more!

Thanks to the kind Mr. sevres_babylone, I now have a film scanner (CanoScan 2710), and am beginning to scan some old stuff. The chromes need some cleaning (I had to do lots of spotting), but this is quick and "dirty" ... circa 1985.

I am not the great scenery / landscape photographer but this one is maybe OK. Taken with the Leica MP Super-Angulon-M on Fuji Trebi100C. Scanned with the Epson GT-V700 (X-900 in Japan) using Epson software.

Anyone tried the ZM 21? Is that the same lens as the G mount or have they done anything with it. I want a new 21, but I want to start to try out some of the Zeiss lenses. Heard so much great things about them and havent gotten a chance to try any of them yet.
I read the ZM 21 is optically the same. The 2.8 stop would be nice to have on a 21. I think I am quite content with my ZM 25, 35 and 50/2; but if I went for a 21, I would want it faster than f4. I know it is only one stop and that one can compensate with faster film: but I would want the flexibility. Erik, the zm 21, like the other biogons, is quite flare resistant and has sharpness that is not abrasive or harsh; its tones seem to range so smoothly from one to another. As I said, I would buy one if I wanted to shoot wider than 25mm; but the 21 doesn't seem to bring that big of an unique difference over the 25 FOV. As it is, I am thinking down the road of the 18mm ZM for something reaaaally wide....but this is not a priority for me at all.

Hi, they are not the same construction. Even if they are both biogons and have a 9/7 Formula they build with totaly different lens stes. Have a look here:

BUT, they are obviously real biogons, the G is much more compact, the ZM seems to perfom a little bit more balanced. Alas, i don't have one of them ...

Great shots posted here!!

I did post some stuff shot with the 21/2,8 ZM on my Flickr site. These are shots from last Saturday in Vancouver. There was a Concour D'Elegance with old cars in the Gastown area. All shot with old, really old, PanF (expiry 1984) developed in Beutler. I still haven't figured out how to post anything larger than thumbnails on RFr, but one day I will!

Edit: I'm sorry I just noticed this shot was done with the 35 summilux pre-asph...
